The location is great, but unfortunately at night it was very noisy outside and my window would not close propperly. The room seemed fine at first glance but the next day i spotted a lot of mold behind the door. The bathroom could also use some renovation.
Way too expensive for its current condition.
This is not a 4 star hotel!!! The best thing is the location which is very central. The rooms are dated. Stayed twice and both times the bar fridge not working. The water went from scalding hot to cold multiple times while showering. And this has been a problem for ages and they haven’t fixed it. The lift was out of service for weeks. No jug in the room or tea/coffee making.. no way is this 4 star!!
Very central to the town. A little shabby in our room. Water flow from tap and shower was inconsistent, and temperature varied dramatically without touching tap. Sometimes, warm water to hot water flowed even when the tap was set to full cold. Breakfast was fair to average.
Very bad experience, the staffs are rude and not honest. We asked for a late check out on 1pm and the staff agreed. When it was 12noon they asked us to check out immediately and charge us extra fee for the late check out, they said their colleague said it’s 12noon but it’s not true.

Upon arrival at the room, everything seemed fine at first glance. After that, we noticed the shortcomings that the hotel should have taken care of.
The location of the hotel is really great if you want to move around in the center of Catania.
Very bad management.
They didn’t inform us before check-in that there is to much noise from the street at the first floor until morning. Even we point out spesifically that we want a quite room and they said ‘don’t worry’

Good quality hotel overall, very central close to via Etna. Rooms are beautiful, with high ceilings. Only down was the bathtub poorly maintained. It had a jacuzzi in it but there was something looking like rust coming out of the water jets. It's a shame for such beautiful hotel, otherwise it would be 5 starts review.
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location of the hotel was amazing. Right in the city centre, it can't get more central. The reception ladies are all super friendly and polite to a point which i was amazed at how great they are. …
